Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Senior Portfolio Finance Manager to lead the financial governance of infrastructure projects. You will apply SAP, Unifier and other financial systems to ensure accounting compliance, contractual integrity, and operational excellence across the portfolio.

You will collaborate with internal teams, customers, suppliers and contractors, translating complex project economics into actionable insights, with travel up to 20% and fluency in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, (international) finance, business administration, or equivalent training.
• 3+ years' experience managing construction projects and long-term service contracts, energy industry preferred.
• Advanced contract management and proficiency with SAP/Unifier and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project contract administration with streamlined processes for financial transparency.
• Provide real-time visibility into project budgets and financial performance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and maintenance providers to meet timelines.
• Apply contract management to document review, change order negotiations, and risk analysis.
• Lead project reviews from initiation to close-out with accurate reporting and forecasting.
• Manage change orders and supplier claims to enhance profitability.
• Communicate financial insights to project teams and forecast expenditures.
