Job summary

EasySoftGroup in Kraków is seeking a Platform Engineer to help build scalable, cloud-native platforms used across multiple engineering teams. You will own shared infrastructure, internal libraries, and developer tooling to accelerate delivery.

You will work with TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines, shaping reliability, performance, and observability. The role involves collaboration across distributed teams and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building backend services with TS/Node.js (NestJS preferred).
• Strong fundamentals in CPU, memory, I/O, concurrency and performance.
• Experience with AI-assisted developer tools and strong engineering judgment.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL including schema design and migrations.
• Familiarity with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog).
• Ability to learn new tools quickly and write maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Scope and ownership increase with seniority.
• Build and maintain shared libraries and SDKs for authentication, logging, configuration, API clients, and error handling.
• Develop and support shared backend services and internal APIs.
• Improve developer experience with templates, scaffolding, and local tooling.
• Design and maintain CI/CD workflows for reliability, security, and speed.
• Build observability tooling with metrics, logging, tracing, dashboards and alerts.
• Collaborate with product teams to troubleshoot issues and review designs.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
