Job summary

OBI Smart Technologies Poland seeks a strong software and cloud engineer to grow into AI-driven automation and agentic engineering. You will evolve our Workflow Automation capabilities and bridge to our central platform with AWS, Kubernetes, GitLab and more, advancing cloud practices in a production-ready manner.

You will design scalable workflow orchestration and enable cloud adoption, while coaching teams on best practices and sharing knowledge through workshops and sessions.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or related technical field.
• Hands-on with AWS or GCP, including designing, deploying and operating cloud-native services.
• Strong software engineering background with Python or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of API design principles and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration and automation platforms using BPMN or similar tech.
• Practical cloud engineering including containerization and deployment in public clouds.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code tooling.
• Fluent communication skills in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architecture and structured integration of agentic capabilities into products and workflows.
• Design and implement scalable workflow orchestration solutions using BPMN-based platforms and modern automation tooling.
• Enable cloud-native platform adoption by hands-on work with container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, identity management and cloud infrastructure.
• Establish governance and operational excellence standards including observability, cost awareness, access management and secure deployment practices.
• Act as a platform ambassador coaching teams on automation best practices, infrastructure as code and production-ready engineering approaches.
• Build local knowledge sharing through workshops and technical sessions with global platform teams.
• Design and evolve Workflow Automation and Agentic Engineering capabilities with AI-driven enhancements.

We are looking for a strong software and cloud engineer who wants to grow into AI-driven automation & agentic engineering.

You will establish and evolve our Workflow Automation & Agentic Engineering capabilities at OBI Smart Technology Poland and gradually extend it with AI-driven enhancements where they add real value. You act as a technical bridge to our central core platform (AWS, K8s, GitLab, Keycloak & many more) and help teams adopt modern automation and cloud practices in a structured, production-ready way.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Contribute to architecture and structured integration of agentic capabilities into products and workflows, exploring emerging standards and patterns for agent-based systems.
• Design and implement scalable workflow orchestration solutions using BPMN-based platforms and modern automation tooling, combining deterministic logic with AI where beneficial.
• Enable cloud-native platform adoption by working hands-on with container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, identity management and cloud infrastructure to support secure service delivery.
• Establish governance and operational excellence standards including observability, cost awareness, access management and secure deployment practices for workflow and AI solutions.
• Act as a platform ambassador by coaching teams on automation best practices, infrastructure as code, platform-native design and production-ready engineering approaches.
• Build local knowledge sharing practices through workshops, technical sessions and collaboration with global platform teams.
• Design and evolve Workflow Automation and Agentic Engineering capabilities while gradually introducing AI-driven enhancements that deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Hands-on expertise with AWS or GCP, including designing, deploying and operating cloud-native services.
• Strong software engineering background with practical proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of modern API design principles and microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience or strong interest in workflow orchestration and automation platforms using BPMN or comparable technologies.
• Practical cloud engineering experience including containerization and deployment within public cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code tooling supporting automated delivery and scalable environments.
• Fluent communication skills in English and Polish
