Job summary

OBI Smart Technologies Poland seeks a strong software and cloud engineer to grow AI-driven automation and agentic engineering in Katowice. You will bridge our central platform (AWS, K8s, GitLab, Keycloak) and help teams adopt modern automation practices in production-ready ways.

Your responsibilities include architecture integration of agentic capabilities, scalable workflow orchestration with BPMN, enabling cloud-native adoption, and governance/observability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or related field.
• Strong software engineering with Python or TypeScript.
• Good API design and microservices knowledge.
• Experience with workflow orchestration and BPMN or similar.
• Cloud engineering with containerization in public clouds.
• CI/CD and IaC tooling experience.
• Fluent English and Polish; hybrid work in Katowice.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architecture and integration of agentic capabilities.
• Design scalable workflow orchestration using BPMN and automation tools.
• Enable cloud-native platform adoption with containers, CI/CD, IAM and cloud infra.
• Establish governance, observability, cost awareness and secure deployment practices.
• Coach teams on automation best practices and IaC.
• Foster knowledge sharing through workshops and collaboration with global teams.
• Evolve capabilities with AI-driven enhancements delivering measurable value.
