Job summary

Intellias is seeking a hands-on senior DevOps/Platform engineer to design and ship production-grade infrastructure, bridging IAM, platform engineering and AI security in enterprise settings. You will build self-service IaC patterns, credential flows, and onboarding standards for on‑prem environments, with emphasis on security, reliability and observability.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/platform roles, strong Python, Linux, IaC and CI/CD experience, plus migration work and Kubernetes

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps/platform/systems engineering.
• Production-grade Python scripting and tooling.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and OS troubleshooting.
• IaC experience with Ansible and Terraform.
• Migration experience (OS/workflow) and audit of workloads.
• Kubernetes knowledge for cluster management and workload migration.
• CI/CD best practices and pipelines across GitHub/GitLab/Jenkins.
• Observability tooling with Prometheus/Grafana for distributed systems.
• Security awareness: secrets management, least-privilege, dependency hygiene.
• Ability to communicate trade-offs to engineers and non-engineers.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining Python services, libraries, and CLI tooling for internal infra.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to turn pain points into platform features.
• Replacing manual ops with self-service, reproducible environments.
• Building observability into the platform with metrics, logging, and alerts.
• Owning production issues end-to-end and implementing robust fixes.
• Managing and scaling compute and storage on-premises as usage grows.
• Incorporating security-by-default: secrets management and access control.
• Evaluating new tools and integrating them into the platform roadmap.
