Senior PHP Backend Developer (App Framework)

Location: Poland (Remotely)
Contract: B2B (19.000 - 28.000 net PLN) or UoP (15.800 - 23.200 PLN gross)

The Tech Team Environment

The Tech team is Tidio's largest, comprising over 40 professionals. We prioritize modern technology, utilizing PHP 8.3 and the newest versions of other technologies. We maintain high code quality through rigorous code reviews, PHPStan level 9, and strong test coverage. We operate in two-week sprints and foster growth in technologies like NodeJS, AWS, Docker, and Machine Learning through guilds and Improvement Fridays (Backend, Frontend, QA).

Your Role in the App Framework Team

As a Senior PHP Backend Developer in the App Framework team, you will build, maintain, and evolve core platform features that serve 350 million unique users monthly. The team includes Backend and Frontend Engineers, QA, and an Engineering Manager. Our core technology stack includes PHP 8, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate possesses:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PHP Backend Developer.
• Deep expertise in PHP (preferably PHP 8/8.3, including knowledge of the latest features).
• Proficiency in system architecture, architectural patterns, SOLID principles, MySQL, message queues (RabbitMQ), caching (Redis), and containerization (Docker).
• Experience with Elasticsearch for logs and analytics, testing (PHPUnit), PHPStan, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with code observability and monitoring.
• Ability to tests alongside new and existing code.
• Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture, performance tuning, and legacy code migrations (a plus).
