Job summary

ShipMonk, a tech-powered logistics partner, seeks a Senior PHP Developer for the Product Development team in the Czech Republic or Poland. You will build scalable backend services powering real-time warehouse operations, optimize SQL performance, and own architectural decisions for high concurrency in a multi-region setup.

You will work with PHP 8.5, Symfony, Doctrine ORM, and MySQL, while leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and GitLab CI to ship reliable software in a fast-growing logistics

Qualifications

• Proficient in PHP with modern stack and frameworks.
• Experience with high-concurrency systems and scalable REST APIs.
• Strong database skills, especially SQL optimization and MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services for real-time warehouse operations.
• Own architectural decisions for low-latency, high-throughput components.
• Collaborate with distributed teams across Europe and the US.
• Ensure code quality with automated tests and tooling (PHPUnit, PHPStan, PHPCS).
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
