Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Pega Lead System Architect to join the Corporate Loans team. You will lead the technical design and implementation of Pega-based solutions for loan origination, servicing, and the corporate lending lifecycle.

You will work with Pega Architects and Nordea's architecture community, set the development direction, ensure scalability and governance, and mentor other systems architects. This is a hybrid role with teams in Gdansk and Łódź; Poland-based applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

Pega CLSA certification.
Minimum 5 years IT experience.
Experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade Pega solutions.
Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

Lead the system design and development of Pega-based solutions supporting corporate lending.
Own technical direction and architectural decisions with Pega governance in Nordea.
Ensure scalability, performance, and governance aligned with enterprise standards.
Design and govern integration patterns with internal and external systems.
Drive best practices in architecture, quality, and delivery.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other System Architects and teams.
Act as the main escalation point for complex technical challenges.
Contribute to an inclusive team culture based on trust and shared ownership.
