Job summary

Nordea is seeking a Pega Lead System Architect to join our Corporate Loans engineering team. You will lead technical design and implementation of Pega‑based solutions supporting loan origination, servicing, and the corporate lending lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Pega Architects and cross‑functional teams across Nordea to drive scalable, compliant, high‑quality architecture and delivery in a global environment. The role is hybrid and Poland/Finland based applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of IT experience.
Pega CLSA certification.
Experience designing and delivering enterprise‑grade Pega solutions.
Strong understanding of Pega architecture, integration patterns, and performance considerations.
Experience in international environments.
Fluency in English.
Prefer regular employment contract, not B2B.

Responsibilities

Lead the system design and development of Pega‑based solutions for corporate lending.
Own technical direction and architectural decisions with Pega governance in Nordea.
Ensure scalability, performance and governance compliance with enterprise standards.
Design and govern integration patterns with internal and external systems.
Drive best practices in architecture, quality and delivery according to Nordea targets.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other System Architects and dev teams.
Act as main escalation point for complex technical challenges.
Contribute to an inclusive team culture based on trust and shared ownership.
