Job summary

Danfoss is seeking a Senior Professional, OT/IoT to design, deploy, and secure OT/IoT infrastructure across our manufacturing environments. You’ll lead network architecture for industrial devices, ensure 24/7 operations, and collaborate with IT for secure data flow from factory floors to enterprise systems.

You will work across locations in Europe with hybrid flexibility, applying IEC 62443 standards and advancing Industry 4.0 initiatives while staying current on emerging OT and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A few years hands-on OT/ICS experience, focused on industrial network design and administration.
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, OPC-UA).
• Proven experience with industrial network hardware (Aruba, Hirschmann, Cisco, Siemens).
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices for OT environments.
• Strong English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, Deploy, and Maintain IoT and OT network solutions for manufacturing environments.
• Ensure security and reliability of OT/IoT devices; manage patching and incident response per IEC 62443.
• Collaborate with IT and Business operations to integrate OT and IT networks securely.
• Provide expert-level technical support for OT/IoT network issues to minimize downtime.
• Create and maintain documentation for network architecture and configurations, contribute to global standards.
• Stay current with advancements in industrial networking, IoT, and cybersecurity.
