Job summary

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company and is based in Poland. Jobgether is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to provide expert database administration in a fully remote capacity, supporting complex Oracle environments across 10g–19c.

You will lead upgrades to 19c, migrations, performance tuning, and high availability (RAC, Data Guard) while working with Engineered Systems (ODA/Exadata) and RMAN backup strategies in a distributed client environment.

Qualifications

10+ years of professional Oracle DBA experience across 10g, 11g, 12c, and 19c.
At least 2 years with Oracle Engineered Systems (ODA/Exadata).
Experience upgrading databases to Oracle 19c.
Database migrations involving complex implementations.
Strong RMAN knowledge for backup and recovery.
Hands-on with RAC, Data Guard, partitioning, and compression.
OS admin knowledge on two platforms (Linux/OEL, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX).
Cloud experience with Oracle databases.
Fully remote position with strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Administer Oracle database environments across 10g–19c for stability and performance.
Support Engineered Systems such as ODA and Exadata.
Lead database upgrades to Oracle 19c.
Perform migrations with minimal disruption and data integrity.
Tune performance and diagnose issues across environments.
Manage RMAN backup and recovery processes.
Maintain high availability with RAC, Data Guard, and related technologies.
Monitor using Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control.
