Job summary

Rublon is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator to lead large-scale migrations and transform Oracle environments into RAC-based platforms in Warsaw. You will collaborate with application and infrastructure teams through design, migration, SIT/UAT, cutover, and post-migration support to ensure stability and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on Oracle RAC installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience migrating databases, including data center relocations.
• Experience moving Oracle environments from standalone to RAC.
• Strong knowledge of Grid Infrastructure, ASM, RMAN, backup/recovery, and HA.
• Experience supporting testing during migrations and major changes.
• Strong Oracle performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong Linux/UNIX knowledge.
• Experience with ITSM processes (incident, change, problem).
• Proficiency in Polish and English.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator to support large-scale data center migration and database transformation projects. This role is focused on Oracle enterprise environments, including migrations from standalone databases to Oracle RAC, platform relocation, high availability, validation, and post-migration support.

What You’ll Work On

You will work on complex Oracle database migrations and infrastructure transformation projects with strict timelines and planned cutovers. A key part of the role will be transforming existing standalone Oracle environments into highly available RAC-based platforms while ensuring database stability throughout migration and testing cycles. You will work closely with application and infrastructure teams during design, migration, SIT/UAT, performance testing, cutover, and post-migration support.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Oracle Database Administrator, You Will

Skills You Have

We Are Looking For Someone Who Has

• 5+ years of professional experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments,
• strong hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting,
• practical experience with database migrations, especially data center relocations and platform transformations,
• experience moving Oracle environments from standalone to RAC architecture,
• strong knowledge of Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM, RMAN, backup/recovery, and high availability,
• experience supporting application testing during database migrations and major changes,
• good Oracle performance tuning and troubleshooting skills,
• strong Linux/UNIX knowledge,
• experience working on project-driven migrations with strict timelines and cutovers,
• understanding of ITSM processes, including incident, change, and problem management,
• professional working proficiency in both Polish and English.
