Job summary

Be | Shaping the Future Poland is seeking a Senior Oracle BI / DWH Developer to join a fully remote team. You will build and optimize Oracle-based data warehouse and BI solutions with emphasis on PL/SQL, ETL, data modeling, and performance tuning.

You will design and maintain Data Warehouse architectures, work with star/snowflake schemas, and develop complex SQL queries for large-scale data environments, collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

Senior Oracle BI / DWH Developer

We are looking for a Senior Oracle BI / DWH Developer to join our team and work on complex enterprise data and business intelligence solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing Oracle-based Data Warehouse and BI solutions, with a strong focus on PL/SQL, ETL processes, data modeling, and performance optimization.

What you’ll do

Develop and maintain advanced Oracle PL/SQL solutions, including packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
Design, implement, and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
Develop and maintain Data Warehouse solutions based on dimensional modeling
Work with star and snowflake schemas and design efficient data structures
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale data environments
Perform database performance tuning, including optimization of indexes, partitioning, statistics, and execution plans
Work with transaction management, exception handling, collections, temporary tables, and in-memory structures
Develop and maintain reporting and analytics solutions using the Oracle BI / Analytics ecosystem
Create technical documentation and ensure the quality and maintainability of implemented solutions
Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders on complex enterprise data projects

What we’re looking for

Strong professional experience with Oracle PL/SQL
Advanced SQL skills and proven experience with query optimization and performance tuning
Solid understanding of Oracle databases and database design
Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse architecture and dimensional modeling
Hands‑on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
Experience with Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle Analytics / Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)
Understanding of the differences between OLTP and DWH environments
Experience working on complex, enterprise-scale data projects
Ability to independently design, implement, test, troubleshoot, and maintain DWH solutions
Good understanding of performance considerations in large-scale data environments
Ability to document technical solutions clearly
Fluent English and good communication skills
