Job summary

PwC Polska is seeking a Senior BI Developer to join our Digital team. You will design and develop the visual layer of analytics, turning complex data into intuitive solutions for PwC clients across industries.

This role emphasizes collaboration with clients and translating challenges into data-driven opportunities. You will work on transforming data into actionable insights, supporting real-time and strategic decisions, and ensuring high standards of data visualization and user experience.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in BI, data visualization and analytics.
• Proficiency in Power BI with good knowledge of DAX and Power Query.
• Good understanding of databases and data modeling with SQL, ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx) or Python.
• Proven track record conducting workshops with clients and gathering business requirements.
• Solid knowledge of data visualization and information design best practices with attention to detail, clarity, and aesthetics.
• Excellent command of English essential for international engagements.

We are looking for:

Senior BI Developer

Your future role:

• Join a team of business intelligence experts developing cutting-edge digital solutions for PwC clients,
• Collaborate with clients across industries to understand their challenges and translate them into data-driven opportunities,
• Design and develop the visual layer of analytics and BI solutions, transforming complex data into clear, intuitive, and impactful user experiences,
• Build analytics solutions that support real-time, operational, tactical, and strategic decision-making,
• Bridge the gap between business needs and data, turning analytical findings into actionable insights.

Apply if you have:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, data visualization and analytics,
• Proficiency in Power BI with good knowledge of DAX and Power Query,
• Good understanding of databases and data modeling with practical experience in technologies such as SQL, ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx) or Python,
• Proven track record conducting workshops with clients and gathering business requirements (business objectives, user needs and goals, supporting metrics, technical specifications, data sources),
• Solid knowledge of data visualization and information design best practices coupled with exceptional care for detail, clarity and aesthetics,
• Excellent command of English essential in working on international engagements,

Nice to have:

• Experience working in a consulting space or in a similar client-facing, fast moving environment,
• Understating of teamwork principles in one of the project management methodologies,
• Experience in overseeing team members on projects,
• Background in UX or UI design and familiarity with design software (e.g. Figma),
• Practical skills in using Fabric, Power Platform (e.g. Power Apps)
• Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g. Tableau)
• Familiarity with Generative AI topics, Large Language Models (LLMs) and their practical applications in BI/analytics
