Job summary

Equinor is seeking a Control Room Operator for our Łeba offshore wind operation base in Poland. You will monitor and remotely operate two offshore wind farms, and coordinate with onshore/offshore substations to ensure safe, efficient plant performance.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s in engineering, HV experience, and fluent Polish and English. The role requires shift work and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering; relevant experience can offset formal education.
• Existing utility/power generation experience or experience from similar environments.
• High voltage experience is desirable.
• TRAININGS/CERT: Marine communication (SRC/LRC/CGO).
• Qualification certificate SEP G1 (D+E) no limits LV/HV.
• G1 certificate.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in shifts.
• Understanding of remote access and operation.
• Fluent Polish and English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with safety regulations and minimize risks in Renewables.
• Assist in preventive maintenance and operational planning to ensure reliability of facilities, assets, equipment, and tools.
• Identify and assess operational risks and coordinate with departments to ensure smooth execution of activities.
• Operate and monitor SCADA/HMI/CCTV systems for safe and efficient plant operation.
• Monitor weather, vessel movements, and liaise with Grid Engineers; issue safety documentation as required.
• Maintain logs, issue permits, and coordinate maintenance activities including downtime planning.
