Job summary

Masterborn 2 is seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join one of our teams serving US clients. The role focuses on Node.js, TypeScript, and scalable REST APIs within a dynamic, flexible work environment.

You'll work in Poland time zone with 100% remote option or hybrid. Youll collaborate across FinTech, SportsTech, MedTech sectors and other ventures, contributing to architecture decisions and product goals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial Node.js backend experience.
• Strong TS knowledge and OOP principles.
• Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Experience with Docker and AWS stack in production.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL and ORMs like Prisma/Knex.
• English B2/C1 and Polish C1.
• Experience designing scalable architectures.
• Experience building AI-powered features is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write readable, scalable JS/TS code with an OOP flavor.
• Design and modify database structures while assessing long-term impact.
• Document technical decisions and code clearly.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align tech with business goals.
• Lead backend architecture decisions and perform peer reviews to raise standards.
• Identify risks, scope changes, and blockers proactively.
• Maintain client relationships and provide feasible options with context.
• Stay updated on backend trends and share knowledge with the team.
