Job summary

Andersen is hiring a Backend Developer (Node.js) to build scalable server-side solutions for global projects in a distributed international team. The role focuses on delivering robust APIs, leveraging NestJS/Express.js, and ensuring secure, scalable services across fintech, healthcare, and other industries.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of Node.js backend experience, strong JS/TS skills, and familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB/Redis) along with Git, Docker, and basic CI/CD

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Backend Developer (NodeJs).
• Strong JavaScript/ES6+ and/or TypeScript knowledge.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with Node.js internals and async programming.
• Proficient with NestJS and/or Express.js.
• Relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB/Redis).
• Understanding of auth, authz, and security basics.
• Git, code reviews and team-based development.
• Basic Docker and CI/CD experience.
• Unit and integration testing experience.
• English level Upper-Intermediate+, German Intermediate+.
