Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Networking Team in Poland. The role focuses on low-level networking software, driver integrations, and daemons enabling NIC hardware support on ARM servers.

You will port network services and contribute to a scalable data center fabric. You will port internal networking daemons and tools to ARM64, set up a local compute stack, debug across the stack, and develop features like DHCPv6 with NIC offloading while collaborating

Qualifications

• BS in CS or EE with strong low-level network programming background.
• Expertise in Rust for DPDK tre_flow and Go for high-performance networking.
• Solid understanding of Linux network stack internals, sockets, and packet processing.

Responsibilities

• Port internal networking daemons and tools to run on ARM64 host environments.
• Stand up and maintain a local Akamai Compute/Linode stack in a VM.
• Debug complex issues across the software stack and port components to ARM.
• Develop and enhance networking features, including DHCPv6, and offload to NICs.
• Perform performance tuning and packet-throughput profiling on high-speed interfaces.
• Collaborate with other teams to drive resolutions.
