GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Networking Team in Poland. You will port low‑level networking daemons, enable NIC hardware support, and contribute to next‑generation SmartNIC solutions on ARM servers.

The role emphasizes Rust, Go, Linux internals, and high‑performance networking, with collaboration across teams to deliver robust, scalable networking software.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with heavy low-level network programming.
• Mastery of Rust (for DPDK tre_flow) and Go for high-performance networking.
• Solid understanding of Linux network stack internals, sockets, and packet processing.

Responsibilities

• Port internal networking daemons and tools to ARM64 host environments.
• Stand up and maintain a local development environment for the Akamai Compute stack (Linode).
• Debug complex issues across VMs, disks, and networking; port components to ARM.
• Develop networking capabilities and add support for DHCPv6; offload stack to NICs.
• Perform performance tuning and packet-throughput profiling on high-speed interfaces.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to drive resolutions.
