Job summary

Jit Team is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join its Polish operations. You will work on a financial project focusing on network infrastructure assessment and migration planning within a complex enterprise environment.

The role involves collaborating with application and infrastructure teams to validate traffic patterns, assess migration readiness, and support post-migration validation for a smooth transition.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or related senior roles.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking environments.
• Hands-on routing, switching and VLAN configuration experience.
• Solid understanding of network segmentation and connectivity design.
• Experience delivering infrastructure migration initiatives within enterprise environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse NICs, IP addressing, VLANs, network zones, and existing traffic paths.
• Validate Data and Management traffic flows in cooperation with application teams.
• Identify backup, replication, and other traffic types utilizing the Management path.
• Define the target network architecture, connectivity model, and migration approach.
• Assess NIC port availability and capacity constraints across the infrastructure.
• Support migration execution, troubleshooting activities, and post-migration validation.

Work model: hybrid from Gdańsk / Gdynia / Warszawa / Łódź (2/3 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on network infrastructure assessment and migration planning within a complex enterprise environment. The assignment aims to analyse existing network connectivity, traffic flows, and segmentation to support the definition of a future-state architecture.

You will work closely with application and infrastructure teams to validate network usage patterns, identify dependencies, and assess migration readiness. The role requires supporting migration activities, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a smooth transition through post-migration validation.

Responsibilities you'll have
