Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED in Warsaw seeks an Expert IT Network Engineer to own and evolve the corporate network, setting architecture standards and driving automation and cloud networking initiatives across Global IT.

You will lead complex infrastructure projects, mentor engineers, and serve as the escalation point for incidents, delivering scalable, secure solutions for on-premises and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Network Engineering, including designing and operating complex enterprise networks.
• Deep knowledge of routing, switching, WLAN, VPN, firewalls, SD-WAN, 802.1X/NAC.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Strong experience with network automation and Infrastructure as Code using Ansible, Python, Terraform.
• Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid networking architectures in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Strong understanding of network security, resiliency, high availability, monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Experience with network monitoring and observability solutions such as Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
• Experience leading complex technical initiatives and cross-team decisions.
• Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical direction.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in English and Polish, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve corporate network architecture across LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, and cloud environments.
• Define network engineering standards, reference architectures, and technical roadmap.
• Design scalable, resilient, and secure network solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Drive network automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices using Ansible, Python, Terraform, or similar technologies.
• Lead technical evaluations, architecture reviews, and complex cross-team infrastructure initiatives.
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex incidents, driving root cause analysis and systemic improvements.
• Mentor engineers, share knowledge, and maintain architecture documentation and engineering standards.
