Job summary

HeadHR is looking for a skilled network engineer to implement and manage LAN/WAN/Data Center networks in Łódź, Poland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer networks and a proven ability to support sales efforts.

Qualifications

• Confirmed 1-2 years of experience in computer networks.
• Practical knowledge of network devices such as Cisco or FortiGate.
• Ability to create technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implementation and management of LAN/WAN/Data Center networks.
• Support sales in analyzing customer needs.
• Monitoring network performance and resolving technical issues.

Skills

Experience in computer networks (LAN, WAN)

Knowledge of network devices (Cisco, FortiGate)

Basic knowledge of Linux or Windows

Experience with SD-WAN, SDN, NAC, VoIP

Excellent knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS)

Technical documentation skills

English language proficiency

Job description

Requirements:

• Confirmed 1-2 years of experience in the area of computer networks (LAN, WAN, routing, switching, network protocols, firewall)
• Practical knowledge of network devices (e.g. Cisco, FortiGate)
• Basic knowledge of administering Linux or Windows operating systems
• Basic knowledge of virtualization, infrastructure monitoring - e.g. zabbix or equivalent
• Very good knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, STP, DHCP, OSPF or BGP)
• Ability to create technical documentation
• Good self-organization and communication skills
• English language proficiency at the level of fluent reading of technical documentation and communication with the support department of a given manufacturer
• Category B driving license and readiness for business trips (up to 2 days and occasional). Apart from that, it is a work in an office in Łódź

Additional advantages:

• Industry certification (e.g. CCNA and equivalent)

• Implementation of implementation and maintenance projects, implementation and management of LAN/WAN/Data Center networks
• Support for the sales department in analyzing customer needs, meetings with customers, and selecting solutions (presales)

• Cooperation with IT teams in launching new services and solutions
• Monitoring network performance and resolving technical issues
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation
