Job summary

Share is a venture-backed startup building a global marketplace for bandwidth. We seek a Senior Network Developer to design and build a software-defined network as a distributed, multi-provider fabric.

You will own the network architecture end to end, including the BGP edge, transit, peering, private interconnects, and the PoPs and data centers across the continent. You will set the standards for the network and help grow the network engineering team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building and operating large networks for hyperscalers, CDNs, or ISPs.
• Deep hands-on BGP knowledge, including routing policy and peering.
• Experience with data center fabrics (EVPN-VXLAN) and routing protocols.
• Automation skills and infrastructure as code (Python).

Responsibilities

• Design backbone and PoP architecture as reusable building blocks.
• Advance Segment Routing and IP architecture, IPv4/IPv6 coexistence.
• Work with disaggregated hardware (Edgecore with OcNOS) and hardware choices.
• Automate operations with Nautobot, templated configs (Jinja), CI/CD.
• Develop telemetry/observability and AI-assisted incident handling.
• Ensure high availability and quick post-mortem fixes.
• Collaborate with software team on API provisioning and partner ISPs.
• Help hire and mentor engineers on the team.
