Job summary

RED Global is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to manage and optimize our global network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless and VPN. You will design, configure, and secure core components and lead complex migrations.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with vendors, and ensure security and reliability while maintaining a user-focused mindset. The role offers a hybrid work model with 3 days on-site in Warsaw and cross‑functional collaboration across regions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise network design and operations.
• Strong ability to drive complex migrations and lifecycle work.
• Solid knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and security.
• Experience with SD-WAN, high-availability concepts, and automation.
• Proven incident response and problem-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point; mentor engineers and coordinate with vendors.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and continuously optimize the global network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless, VPN).
• Design, configure, and secure core network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network access controls.
• Lead and support complex network migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and lifecycle replacement initiatives.
• Drive advanced troubleshooting, resolve high-severity incidents, and conduct in-depth Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Monitor network capacity, availability, and resilience, defining and implementing operational improvements.
• Ensure all configurations and services comply with strict security standards, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
• Act as an escalation point, mentor less experienced engineers, and coordinate with key vendors and service providers.

Skills Required:

• Proven track record in enterprise-grade network design, deployment, and operational management.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Cisco and Cato Networks solutions.
• Deep technical knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, SD‑WAN, network security, and high‑availability concepts.
• Demonstrated experience with complex incident response, problem management, and lifecycle engineering.
• Forward-thinking approach with an understanding of emerging AI developments and automation in the network domain.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to maintain a "helicopter view" while staying focused on the end‑user experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, comfortable working in a global, cross‑functional environment.
