Job summary

RED Global in Warszawa is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy and optimize our global network. You will manage LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and security, while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with vendors.

This role requires hands-on expertise with Cisco and Cato Networks, certifications, and a strategic mindset to balance end-user experience with security and reliability in a multinational environment. Hybrid work: 3 days on-site.

Qualifications

• Must have enterprise-grade network design, deployment, and operation experience.
• Certifications in Cisco and Cato Networks are required.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, SD‑WAN, network security, and high‑availability concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and optimize the global network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless, VPN).
• Design, configure, and secure core network components (routers, switches, firewalls, NAC).
• Lead migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle replacement initiatives.
• Drive advanced troubleshooting and RCA for high-severity incidents.
• Monitor capacity, availability, and resilience; implement improvements.
• Ensure configurations meet security standards and documentation.
• Act as escalation point; mentor engineers; coordinate with vendors.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, maintain, and continuously optimize the global network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless, VPN).
• Design, configure, and secure core network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network access controls.
• Lead and support complex network migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and lifecycle replacement initiatives.
• Drive advanced troubleshooting, resolve high-severity incidents, and conduct in-depth Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Monitor network capacity, availability, and resilience, defining and implementing operational improvements.
• Ensure all configurations and services comply with strict security standards, operational procedures, and technical documentation.
• Act as an escalation point, mentor less experienced engineers, and coordinate with key vendors and service providers.

Skills Required:

• Proven track record in enterprise-grade network design, deployment, and operational management.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Cisco and Cato Networks solutions (certifications in these technologies are required).
• Deep technical knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, SD‑WAN, network security, and high‑availability concepts.
• Demonstrated experience with complex incident response, problem management, and lifecycle engineering.
• Forward‑thinking approach with an understanding of emerging AI developments and automation in the network domain.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to maintain a \"helicopter view\" while staying focused on the end‑user experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, comfortable working in a global, cross‑functional environment.
