Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Network Security SME to join our Cybersecurity Technology Engineering team in Cracow. You will lead strategic security initiatives, guide senior management, and help maintain network defenses across global infrastructure in a hybrid model.

The role requires 5+ years in network security, strong knowledge of controls and cloud platforms, and professional certifications such as CISSP/CISA/CISM. The Kraków office is visited three times per month.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration and cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of security controls and industry trends.
• Experience with IDS/IPS, firewalls, and proxies.
• Proficient in TCP/UDP/DNS and network protocol analysis.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud desirable.
• Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM are desirable.
• Advanced English level.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid Kraków office three times per month.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development and execution of strategic security initiatives to strengthen network defenses.
• Providing expert guidance on cybersecurity strategies to senior management and stakeholders.
• Maintaining up-to-date security documentation and conducting in-depth reviews of security design documentation and firewall rules.
• Identifying potential gaps in security controls and supporting the development of remediation plans for identified deficiencies.
• Offering advanced technical support and guidance on complex network solutions, cryptography, and data security projects.
• Ensuring compliance with global cybersecurity standards and promoting best practices across the organization.
• Leading risk assessment activities and developing comprehensive risk management plans.
• Collaborating with the Business as part of the first line of defense to maintain visibility of IT security risk profiles and control effectiveness.
• Engaging with regional and global cybersecurity stakeholders to address security concerns.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant security frameworks, standards, and best practices.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of network protocols (e.g., TCP, UDP, DNS) and network protocol analysis tools
• Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google is desirable
• Proven ability to create comprehensive reports, document findings, and provide strategic recommendations
• Advanced industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable
• Advanced level of English
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model at the Kraków office three times per month
