Job summary

CoreWeave, a leading AI cloud provider, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for its Network Development team. You’ll design, develop, automate, and maintain networking software and infrastructure powering CoreWeave's GPU cloud, writing Python and Go, building dashboards, CLIs, and APIs, and collaborating with Network Engineering and Observability teams.

You’ll mentor engineers, contribute to RFCs and architecture decisions, help drive automation and testing, join the on-call rotation, and

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, building/operating production infrastructure or backend systems at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Go.
• Solid CI/CD experience: testing, code reviews, continuous builds and deployments.
• Strong understanding of runtime health management for services.
• Experience with workflow automation/orchestration systems and automated device provisioning at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own design, development, and long-term health of platforms that automate the network, including config generation and device provisioning.
• Plan and map complex projects months in advance, sequencing work and managing parallel efforts.
• Lead technical direction through RFCs, design reviews, and architecture decisions.
• Write well-tested, well-documented Python and Go code; enforce quality via tests and CI/CD.
