Qualifications

  • Very good knowledge of computer network administration and architecture.
  • Ability to diagnose problems and resolve network incidents.
  • Openness to 1-2 weeks onboarding in Switzerland.

Job description

We are looking for a person for the position of Network Administrator for a project implemented for a Swiss company that manages a global IT infrastructure covering more than 140 locations around the world.

The person in this position will be responsible for network support and maintenance, implementation of network solutions and cooperation with international technical teams. The project combines day‑to‑day operational work with development opportunities in the areas of network automation and security.

Your tasks
  • Maintain, monitor and ensure high performance of global network infrastructure
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to teams in Switzerland and abroad
  • Implement and develop network solutions in cooperation with the engineering team
  • Perform changes, software installations and system upgrades
  • Manage network incidents and resolve technical issues
  • Implement task automation and monitor its effectiveness
  • Maintaining complete technical documentation of the network environment
  • Identifying and proposing improvements to increase network performance, capacity and scalability
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in network support/ network operations area
  • Very good knowledge of computer network administration and architecture
  • Ability to diagnose problems and resolve network incidents
  • Experience working with diagnostic, monitoring and analytical tools
  • Ability to work in an international team and communicate effectively with business users
  • Cisco CCNA certification (minimum)
  • Openness to 1‑2 weeks onboarding in Switzerland
  • Knowledge of English at a minimum B2 level
  • Residence in Poland required and fluency in the Polish language
Nice to have
  • Cisco CCNP or Fortinet FortiGate certifications
  • Experience in network process automation (NetSecOps)
