Job summary

AppGreat is seeking an experienced Senior NetSuite Financials Implementer to lead client-facing NetSuite Financials implementation projects. You will understand finance processes, design scalable NetSuite solutions, and collaborate with project managers and technical consultants to deliver high-value results.

The role emphasizes discovery, requirements gathering, data migration, testing, go-live support, and end-user training across multi-country environments, including OneWorld configurations.

We are looking for an experienced Senior NetSuite Financials Implementer with strong, hands-on expertise in implementing and configuring NetSuite Financials. In this role, you will take a leading role in delivering NetSuite Financials implementation projects, working directly with clients to understand their finance processes, identify business requirements, and design scalable solutions that support their operational and financial goals.

YOUR MISSION:

• Lead discovery workshops and requirements-gathering sessions focused on clients' finance and accounting processes.
• Analyze and document complex financial business requirements and translate them into effective, scalable NetSuite Financials solutions.
• Take ownership of the functional design, configuration, and implementation of NetSuite Financial modules.
• Advise clients on NetSuite best practices and recommend process improvements to optimize financial operations.
• Lead solution design discussions and act as a senior functional advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Configure and optimize key NetSuite Financial capabilities, including areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting, Multi-Currency, Multi-Subsidiary, and other relevant financial processes.
• Lead and support financial data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and testing.
• Define and execute functional testing strategies and support clients throughout User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Play a key role in deployment planning, go-live activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Deliver training and guidance to finance teams and business users to support successful adoption of NetSuite.
• Act as a trusted, client-facing advisor and primary functional point of contact for NetSuite Financials workstreams.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, technical consultants, and other implementation specialists to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support and mentor junior consultants by sharing functional expertise, implementation best practices, and NetSuite knowledge.
• Stay up to date with NetSuite Financials capabilities and proactively identify opportunities to improve client solutions and internal delivery practices.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE COMPANY:

• +4 years of hands-on experience with NetSuite Financials and/or ERP financial implementations.
• Proven experience implementing and configuring NetSuite Financial modules in a client-facing or consulting environment.
• Strong understanding of core finance and accounting processes, including Record-to-Report (R2R), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), financial close, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated experience leading or independently owning significant parts of an ERP or NetSuite Financials implementation lifecycle.
• Strong ability to gather and challenge business requirements and translate them into practical, scalable system solutions.
• Experience with financial data migration, data validation, reconciliation, testing, UAT, and go-live activities.
• Confidence in leading discovery workshops, solution design sessions, and conversations with finance stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex requirements and recommend effective solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with finance teams, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional project teams.
• A high level of ownership, independence, and accountability for project deliverables.

NICE TO HAVE/ADVANTAGE:

• NetSuite certifications, particularly SuiteFoundation and/or NetSuite ERP Consultant certification.
• A background in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Systems.
• Experience with complex NetSuite environments, including OneWorld, multi-subsidiary, multi-currency, and multi-country financial processes.
• Experience with financial reporting, saved searches, workflows, and other NetSuite optimization capabilities.
• Previous experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior consultants.
• Exposure to integrations or collaboration with technical teams on NetSuite customization and financial system integrations.
