Job summary

Luxoft, Kraków, is seeking a senior .NET developer to lead the build of a new data and application platform. You will replace a senior developer, guide the team, and set technical direction while ensuring clean code and high-quality delivery.

You will mentor the team, design RESTful APIs, and drive automated testing and agile practices, partnering with QA and product managers in a fast-paced investment-banking context.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience as a .NET developer (C#).
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (repos, boards, pipelines, CI/CD).
• Proven experience with Databricks.
• Proven ability to act as a technical lead: advising, guiding, and mentoring a development team.
• Experience building new platforms or major systems from the ground up.
• Experience in automated testing of .NET applications.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Good communication skills and the ability to clearly state requirements to other teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using .NET (C#).
• Build and optimize data pipelines and workloads on Databricks.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release processes in Azure DevOps.
• Advise and guide the team on architecture, design decisions, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using .NET (C#)
• Build and optimize data pipelines and workloads on Databricks
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and release processes in Azure DevOps
• Advise and guide the team on architecture, design decisions, and best practices while the new platform is built
• Mentor developers and raise the technical level of the team through code reviews and pair programming
• Define and consume RESTful APIs, clearly communicating requirements and constraints across teams
