United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to lead architecture toward modern, service-oriented, AI-enabled applications built on Microsoft Azure, with optional AWS alignment. You will design microservices, REST APIs, and data flows across the platform, while embedding security and AI capabilities for enterprise-scale delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in .NET and C# with cloud-native architectures.
• Proven ability to design microservices and REST APIs with performance focus.
• Experience with security protocols and identity providers (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Okta).
• Hands-on with AI-assisted tooling and cloud modernization initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services (App Services, Service Bus, Event Hubs) and related AWS equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve cloud-native architectures across compute, API management, messaging, and data on Azure (or AWS).
• Define and deliver scalable, secure REST APIs with strong developer usability.
• Apply microservice and DDD approaches to bound services and integrate AI capabilities.
• Deliver architecture artifacts for engineering and executives and lead platform performance efforts.
• Embed security/compliance, identity management, and encryption across designs.
• Collaborate with product/data teams to embed Generative AI features and automation.
