Job summary

SoftServe is seeking a senior cloud architect to lead the design of a large-scale Azure-based security analytics and observability platform. You will define the target Azure architecture for multi-region deployments, ensuring parity with the existing AWS environment while enabling expansion to new regions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise Azure solutions.
• Experience mapping workloads from AWS to Azure-native services.
• Hands-on with Splunk Cloud/ES or similar SIEM and observability platforms.
• Strong knowledge of security, governance, and compliance frameworks including SOC 1, SOC 2, HIPAA.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, cloud automation, and configuration management tools; Puppet is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the target Microsoft Azure architecture for a multi-region security analytics and observability platform.
• Analyze the existing AWS environment and map workloads to Azure-native services.
• Create the migration and re-platforming strategy ensuring parity across cloud environments.
• Lead architecture workshops, design reviews, and technical discussions with client teams and vendors.
• Develop delivery scenarios, LOEs, and estimates to support project planning.
• Define and enforce security, governance, and compliance standards.
• Establish cloud networking, identity, access management, and secrets management standards.
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers across architecture design and implementation.
