Job summary

Allegro Pay is expanding its backend team. We are seeking a Software Engineer 2 with strong .NET and backend experience to build greenfield features in a fintech context.

You will own end-to-end delivery, collaborate with product and design, and drive performance improvements on large-scale systems. You will work in a hybrid setup with flexible hours, contributing to a platform used by millions and deploying dozens of terabytes of data.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with .NET and backend development for production-grade systems.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices; exposure to partner APIs is a plus.
• Comfort with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure.
• Fluent Polish and English (B2+ level) for daily communication.
• Willingness to learn and contribute in a growing fintech team.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of greenfield features end-to-end.
• Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate ideas into robust solutions.
• Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services.
• Mentor and support less experienced teammates as the team grows.
