Job summary

Algoteque is seeking a Back-end .NET Developer to build scalable, cloud-native services in a microservices-based environment. You will work with .NET (C#), Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure to deliver high-performance back-end solutions on Azure.

You will join an international team, participate in agile processes, design RESTful and GraphQL endpoints, and ensure robust security with OAuth2/JWT/Azure AD while driving reliability and quality across deployments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in back-end development with .NET (C#).
• Experience with Azure Cloud services (Azure Functions, AKS, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with event-driven systems (Kafka, Azure Event Hubs).
• Knowledge of CI/CD automation and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with API gateways (Azure API Management, Kong, Istio).
• Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum, Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable back-end services using a microservices approach.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Azure App Services.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement event-driven architecture using Kafka, Azure Event Hubs or similar.
• Ensure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, JWT, and Azure AD.
