Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to help build the core architecture of a cloud-ready platform, operating across Windows, Linux, and macOS. You will contribute to a distributed microservices system using .NET Core, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis, and Ably, shaping the evolution of the platform.

You will design scalable microservices, migrate monoliths, and ensure code quality with TDD while collaborating with multi-functional teams across product, QA, and DevOps.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend development with .NET/.NET Core.
• Experience building large-scale web-based systems.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Proficient in relational databases.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with the team.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.
• Familiarity with AI agents and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing scalable microservices from the ground up.
• Contributing to the evolution of a cloud-native, platform-independent system.
• Integrating legacy components into modern architecture.
• Reverse-engineering and migrating monolithic parts into microservices.
• Writing clean, maintainable code with a focus on quality and testing (TDD).
• Participating in code reviews and driving engineering guidelines.
• Collaborating with product, QA, and DevOps teams.
