Job summary

Aras Corporation is seeking a highly technical Senior FullStack / Cloud Software Engineer to join a small, five-engineer product team as an individual contributor. The role centers on .NET application development, with strong expectations around cloud-native delivery and modern DevOps practices.

Build backend services on .NET for a production SaaS platform; design cloud-native apps on Azure with containerized deployment (AKS).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, primarily backend development in .NET.
• Scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar.
• Hands-on experience building and operating applications on a public cloud platform (Azure preferred), including compute, managed database, storage, and networking services.
• General Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
• Solid understanding of containerized applications; Kubernetes/AKS experience desired.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
• Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills.
• Clear communicator; self-driven with a bias toward ownership and delivering outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve backend services in .NET for a production SaaS platform.
• Design and implement cloud-native applications on Azure; containerized/Kubernetes deployment experience is a plus.
• Own end-to-end delivery in Azure DevOps — CI/CD pipelines, testing, and release management.
• Build and maintain internal product tooling (PowerShell-based).
• Manage infrastructure defined as code (Terraform or similar).
• Drive production readiness across security, observability, reliability, and performance.
• Uphold code quality and testing standards within the team.
• Longer term, participate in the L3 on-call rotation: incident triage and root-cause resolution.
• Contribute to front-end features (React/TypeScript) as needed, primarily backend-focused.
