Job summary

Luxoft Kraków is seeking passionate software developers to craft innovative financial services products. You will join a small, agile team building risk management and portfolio analytics solutions for hedge funds.

Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, delivering scalable C#/.NET and Angular applications, implementing complex business logic, and ensuring quality through testing, reviews, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience ( Hedge fund/financial services preferred).
• Deep expertise in C#/.NET and frontend development with Angular/TypeScript.
• Strong CS fundamentals: algorithms and data structures.
• Solid understanding of OOD/OOP, SOLID, and design patterns.
• Experience with multi-threading and concurrent programming.
• Proven ability to design, build, and support scalable, high-availability applications.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using C#/.NET and Angular.
• Enhance existing functionality based on user feedback and changing needs.
• Develop complex business logic and analytical calculations for risk and scenario modeling.
• Build and maintain interactive data visualizations, reports, and charts.
• Develop and integrate REST/HTTP-based services and messaging solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues while ensuring high availability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with a small cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software.
• Ensure software quality through unit and integration testing.
