Job summary

Luxoft Poland seeks passionate developers to join a small, agile team building next‑generation risk management and portfolio solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders, design scalable systems, and deliver high‑quality software using C#/.NET and Angular.

The role emphasizes strong fundamentals, OOP/SOLID principles, and hands‑on experience across the full software lifecycle, with an emphasis on front‑end and backend integration.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of software engineering experience, preferably within the hedge fund or financial services industry.
• Deep expertise in C#/.NET.
• At least four years of frontend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Angular and TypeScript, with hands-on experience within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using C#/.NET and Angular
• Enhance and extend existing functionality based on user feedback and evolving business needs
• Develop complex business logic and analytical calculations to support capital usage and scenario modeling workflows
• Build and maintain interactive data visualizations, reports, and charts
• Develop and integrate REST/HTTP-based services and messaging solutions where required
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while ensuring high application availability and performance
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
• Deep understanding of object‑oriented design and programming (OOD/OOP)
• Solid knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns
• Experience with multi‑threaded and concurrent programming
• Proven ability to design, build, and support scalable, high-availability applications in production environments
• Strong passion for backend architecture and application development, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
