Job summary

Luxoft Poland seeks a senior software engineer to join a small, agile team building risk management and portfolio management solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#/.NET and Angular, delivering complex business logic and data visualizations for capital usage and scenario modeling.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business, participate in code reviews, and uphold engineering best practices while ensuring high availability and performance

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience, preferably within the hedge fund or financial services industry.
• Deep expertise in C#/.NET.
• At least 4 years of frontend development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Angular and TypeScript, with hands-on experience within the last 3 years.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design and programming (OOD/OOP).
• Solid knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience with multi-threaded and concurrent programming.
• Proven ability to design, build, and support scalable, high-availability applications in production environments.
• Strong passion for backend architecture and application development, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Independent, proactive mindset with a high level of ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using C#/.NET and Angular
• Enhance and extend existing functionality based on user feedback and evolving business needs
• Develop complex business logic and analytical calculations to support capital usage and scenario modeling workflows
• Build and maintain interactive data visualizations, reports, and charts
• Develop and integrate REST/HTTP-based services and messaging solutions where required
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while ensuring high application availability and performance
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work closely with a small, cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software
• Ensure software quality through unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to engineering best practices
