Job summary

Volvo Group in Wroclaw, Poland is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (.NET) to design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using C#, .NET, Angular, and MS SQL Server. You will translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions and contribute to Agile delivery across the full software lifecycle.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field and has 5–7 years of proven .NET experience, with strong Angular and SQL Server expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of proven experience in software development with strong specialization in .NET technologies.
• Deep expertise in .NET, C#, Entity Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, REST APIs, and Test-Driven Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular and extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design and optimization.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, scalable system design, and best practices for maintainable software.
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using C#, .NET, Angular, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Build, test, debug, and optimize software solutions to ensure performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Design and implement REST APIs and high-quality front-end components that support strong user experience.
• Optimize SQL Server databases through efficient query design, indexing strategies, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, architects, and developers to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Provide senior technical guidance, promote engineering best practices, and actively contribute to Agile delivery across the full software lifecycle.
