Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to join a project focused on power supply systems for AC Electric Arc Furnaces. You will design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics, deep MATLAB/Simulink expertise, and experience with ABB Control Builder and CodeSys. Proficiency in English is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics or Control Engineering.
Deep expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for control algorithms.
Strong knowledge of Medium Voltage Drives and their control systems.
Experience with ABB control platforms and Control Builder.
Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain MLSL apps for Medium Voltage Drive Control systems.
Analyze control requirements and translate to software specs.
Develop and validate control algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink.
Configure and test control logic on ABB platforms.
Collaborate with electrical, control and power electronics teams.
Support the development of drive control strategies for industrial applications.
Work with Real-Time Simulation environments for verification.
Prepare technical documentation and contribute to design reviews.
