Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to join a project focused on power supply systems for AC Electric Arc Furnaces. You will design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Electrical/Power/Control Engineering, deep MATLAB/Simulink expertise, MV drives knowledge, and experience with ABB platforms and Control Builder.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Control Engineering.
• Expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for control algorithm development.
• Strong MV drives knowledge and their control systems.
• Experience with ABB control platforms and Control Builder.
• Experience developing drive control strategies for industrial applications.
• Advanced English.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for MV drive control systems.
• Analyze requirements and translate into software specifications.
• Develop and validate control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink.
• Configure and test control logic on ABB platforms.
• Participate in software integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Support drive control strategy optimization for industrial power electronics.
