Job summary
Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Control Engineer to join a project focused on power supply systems for AC Electric Arc Furnaces. You will design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for Medium Voltage Drive Control systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.
The role requires a strong Electrical and Control Engineering background, with deep MATLAB/Simulink expertise, experience with ABB control platforms, and proficiency in English.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or Control Engineering.
- Advanced MATLAB and Simulink expertise for control algorithms.
- Strong MV drives knowledge and ABB platform experience.
- Excellent English language skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MLSL applications for MV drive control systems.
- Analyze requirements and translate into software specifications.
- Develop and validate control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink.
- Configure and test control logic on ABB platforms.
- Support integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with electrical, control, and power electronics teams.
- Contribute to technical documentation and design reviews.
