Job summary

Avenga, a global engineering firm, is seeking a Dynamics 365 Business Central developer to enhance and extend the ERP platform. You will design integrations with HubSpot and Shopify, automate processes, and influence the technical direction of ongoing BC integrations.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and a partner, taking ownership of BI data flows, security, and extension development across sales, inventory, and manufacturing workflows.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development.
• Strong knowledge of AL development.
• Experience building and maintaining BC extensions.
• Understanding of ERP processes (order management, inventory, fulfillment, manufacturing/assembly) and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and enhance Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Build extensions and new functionality to support sales, order management, inventory, assembly, and kitting processes.
• Automate manual business workflows within Business Central.
• Manage and optimize security roles and permission sets.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Business Central and other business platforms.
• Eliminate manual data entry and improve data flow across systems.

At the core of the role

In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing and extending Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, automating business processes, and designing integrations between Business Central and other core platforms. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and an existing Business Central partner while having a strong influence on the future integration strategy and technical direction.

Core skills you'll bring

• Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development

• Strong knowledge of AL development

• Experience building and maintaining Business Central extensions

• Understanding of ERP processes such as order management, inventory, fulfillment, and manufacturing/assembly workflows

• Experience with API integrations, web services, and system integrations

• Knowledge of Business Central security roles and permission management

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to delivering solutions

• Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-have

• Previous experience with Dynamics NAV/Business Central migrations or upgrades
