Job summary

Hitachi, Ltd. is seeking a Senior Mobile Quality Engineer to lead the Test Engineering team in Kraków.

You will drive automated mobile testing for iOS and Android (React Native), integrate tests into CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and GitLab CI/CD, and collaborate with DevOps and product teams to ensure quality across releases. You will develop scalable test strategies, enhance test coverage with Maestro, Detox, and Appium, and mentor other QE engineers while advocating best practices in

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain automated test coverage for iOS and Android React Native apps.
• Create tests for accessibility, performance, and functional criteria.
• Ensure tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to testing frameworks and shift-left testing practices.
• Manage defect tracking in Jira and provide clear reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Test Engineering team and mentor junior QE Engineers.
• Develop testing solutions and test data, both mobile and web.
• Write automated test scripts for mobile and web platforms.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams on quality objectives.
• Review test cases for coverage and alignment with requirements.
• Participate in code reviews to improve product quality.
