Job summary

DevBrother is seeking a Senior Mobile/Backend Engineer to join our AI-driven, banking-focused platform. You will bridge React Native mobile clients with robust Node.js backends, ensure real-time data streams via WebSockets, and maintain strict security standards.

You will collaborate with the CTO and client teams to design scalable, secure solutions and optimize performance across iOS and Android ecosystems. This role offers hybrid work with hubs in Ukraine and Poland.

Qualifications

• English: Upper-Intermediate or Fluent.
• 5+ years of commercial development experience, balancing mobile and backend responsibilities.
• Proficiency in React Native and TypeScript with deep iOS/Android knowledge.
• Backend experience (Node.js/TypeScript) with REST/GraphQL APIs and WebSocket handling.
• Understanding of mobile data protection, caching, background tasks, and push notifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop cross-platform mobile solutions (React Native) and backend services to embed our trading engine into the banking environment.
• Ensure minimal interface latency and reliable streaming of quotes, charts, and orders via WebSockets on mobile.
• Build robust API gateways, data adapters, and integration layers connecting mobile client with banking services and core platform.
• Collaborate with CTO, bank architects, and client engineers on security requirements.
• Ensure mobile app meets strict banking security standards (encryption, biometrics, secure sessions).
• Participate in technical sessions with CTO and enterprise banking leads to align on architecture and requirements.
