Job summary

Team Up Recruitment is helping a technology organization in Poland hire a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong data science background. You will work on predictive modelling, experimentation, optimization and recommendation problems using structured data, joining mature initiatives within an established ML environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as Data Scientist or ML Engineer.
• Strong Python skills and solid SQL knowledge.
• Solid ML theory and statistics understanding.
• Hands-on predictive modelling experience.
• Experience with scikit-learn and experimentation.
• Awareness of data leakage and model validation.
• Experience with Git and collaboration tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment.
• Proactive, able to challenge assumptions.
• English and Polish at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Developing and improving predictive, optimization and recommendation models.
• Working with structured and tabular datasets at scale.
• Designing and evaluating A/B tests and supporting experimentation.
• Contributing to pricing, promotional and assortment-related use cases.
• Building ML solutions end-to-end, including model development, validation and productionization.
• Working with Python and SQL on a daily basis.
• Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Data Analysts, Data Science Managers and business stakeholders.
• Supporting the deployment and operationalization of ML solutions.
• Contributing to MLOps-related practices where relevant.
• Working with cloud and data warehouse environments.
• Identifying high-value business problems and proposing data-driven solutions.
• Supporting less experienced team members when needed.
