Job summary

Red Sky is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Robotics & Computer Vision) to own the ML core of a cutting-edge robotics product. You will build end-to-end DL pipelines, train models from scratch, and deploy at the edge, collaborating closely with the CTO and investors.

This hands-on role requires deep expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow, computer vision, and production-grade ML systems, within a fast-paced startup culture that values rapid iteration and high execution standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of end-to-end Deep Learning experience.
• Proven CV systems in industrial automation.
• Advanced DL tools proficiency including custom data loaders and losses.
• Vision: CNNs, ViTs, object detection, segmentation.
• Production-grade ML components for real products.
• Startup mindset: fast-paced, high-uncertainty environment.
• Fluent Polish and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Own AI/ML/Vision core and align with technical strategy.
• Write custom training loops and architectures; manage end-to-end edge deployment.
• Build MVP AI/ML components and hardware interfaces.
• Define AI/ML stack and model architectures.
• Monitor trends to maintain competitive edge.
• Mentor engineers joining the AI/ML function.
• Translate customer feedback into robust technical requirements.
• Emphasize code quality, ownership, and rapid iteration.
