Job summary

Jit Team in Poland is seeking an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a global product team. You will design, build and deploy scalable ML systems, collaborate with researchers, software engineers and product managers, and own parts of the ML lifecycle from data curation to production monitoring.

The role offers a hybrid work model with 3 days per week in the Malmö office; during the first 3 months commuting is possible and travel costs are covered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Machine Learning Engineering or Software Engineering with a strong ML focus.
• Strong software development skills with proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with deep learning toolkits like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems and high-throughput applications.
• Hands-on experience developing, deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production environments.
• Experience building data processing pipelines and large-scale ML systems.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark, SQL, Snowflake or Hadoop.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within international, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and deploying scalable, production-ready machine learning solutions.
• Building and maintaining large-scale ML systems and data processing pipelines.
• Collaborating with engineers, researchers, data scientists and product stakeholders to deliver AI-powered features.
• Improving machine learning infrastructure, tooling and model development workflows.
• Developing and optimizing training, fine-tuning and evaluation processes for machine learning models.
• Supporting the deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement of ML models in production environments.
