GE Vernova is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to design and implement tooling for turbine maintenance outages. You will lead end-to-end tooling development, perform mechanical analysis, select materials, and support manufacturing with clear work instructions.

From concept through 3D modeling and validation, you will collaborate with FieldCore, GE Product Services, and suppliers worldwide, traveling up to 10%, while delivering high-quality documentation and meeting safety

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with tooling design experience.
• Strong proficiency in mechanical and structural analysis.
• Experience using NX and Ansys Workbench for design and simulation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead tooling design and engineering, including analysis, material selection, and compatibility.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle from concept to 3D modeling, drafting, and production support.
• Coordinate with FieldCore, GE Product Services, and suppliers to drive tooling development.
• Perform on-site testing and validation at customer locations.
• Maintain engineering documentation and participate in design reviews.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with schedules and performance commitments.
